Verry Elleegant although winning 11 Group 1s, her merit rating by the handicappers of France was lowered to 113. Thats the reason for her not going for the Arc. Will run on Saturday.

Was never liking Luxembourg but managed to get 16s. I really want a Japanese horse to win the Arc but there are 4 of them. Maybe Titleholder.
No Baaeed but they have Mostahdaf.
Its really a strong Arc field but the going will have the final say. A longshot winning is not out of the question. Mendocino has beaten last years Arc winner Torquator Tasso. The softer the going the better for German horses. Although Japanese, Stay Foolish has won in both Saudi Arabia and Dubai.
Mishriff will run a honest race and the fillies and mares have a good record so Alpinista will be thereabouts.
Of the other 3yo's, to me only Westover will get the distance. Vadeni, Onesto to me the distance might be a touch too far.
Its an open Arc.
