Thought I would open a separate thread for the Champ

All indication is that he will have one last race to make it 11 from 11 and then go to stud.

It has been announced that his last race will be the Champion Stakes on October 15th (my birthday) 😉
There is many suggestions that he should go for the ARC to cement his greatness by going to France on the 2nd of October.

There is betting available on both races

7/1 for ARC
7/10 for Champion Stakes which appears generous with the only fear of a no show.

The Irish Champion Stakes (September) might be the best option to avoid the soft/heavy going in October (Arc/Champion Stakes)

I don’t know which bookie Attheraces is referring but there is a price of 8/10 for BAAEED to win the Arc, but, if he is a non-runner then you will get your money back. (The first time I’ve seen that).

Baaeed will need to be supplemented. Paddy Power and Betfair are offering the 8/10, money back if he does not take part. Its around 6/1 with bookies.

When Enable won the Arc for the first time, it had to be supplemented but was the favorite long before. I doubt Baaeed will run in the Arc or Irish Champion Stakes but will be fascinating if he does go to the Arc.
