how is it possible that a 40/1 winner pays R10.00 for a win on the tote in SAfrica?

That horse could NEVER have been 40/1. The bookmakers drifted her to get a nibble. (They got one from me )

She ran 0.5 lengths behind the 2nd favourite (3/1) and only 3 lengths behind the favourite (3/10)
There is NO way, in a small field that Zodwa could have gone off at 40/1.

for a change I believe the tote punters got it right!!!!

If you studied that race, can you honestly tell me Zodwa was a 40/1 shot????

Never mind the betting, because we all know that both the tote and bookmaker betting in SA cannot be trusted!!

If you have decided that she could not be that price then the 40/1 with the bookies was very good value. What about the people who couldn't back her with bookies. The only recourse they had was backing her on the tote.........

I know what price she went off at, but I believe this time the tote got the price right.
