Why oh why are we being shown a split screen of Swedish harness horses going down to the start at the same time as they are showing Turffontein runners going down to the start for the 1st leg of the p6.Bitching really is tiresome, and I am truely tired of doing it,but the decision making is just unbelievable.

My father who has played horse racing for 50 years and is the person most influential in making me interested in the game told me yesterday that he has decided to give it up.He says they seldom show post race interviews for Cape Town anymore(especially when there are other centres on),and he can't sit around waiting until 'what time' at night to watch them.He is a small punter, but a punter nonetheless, and we are hardly pulling new ones into the game in droves.

I can't say I blame him!

Can't agree more, JAP, unfortunately as you say bitching doesn't help - and I think they are now going to swtich to that other old favorite - French racing - and nothing will change unless a way is found to bring us a 2nd channel

Never mind, the bookies who still exist in some places seem to be favouring soccer betting above french or any racing, , way to go it seems
