War Artist being aimed at Dubai Sprint...

James Eustace hopes sprinter War Artist will bounce back from a disappointing showing in the Group 1 Hong Kong Sprint by picking up some big prize money in Dubai.

The Newmarket handler is aiming the seven-year-old at the $1million Al Quoz Sprint, which will be held at the new Meydan racecourse on Dubai World Cup night in March.

The stable star won the Gldene Peitsche at Baden-Baden last August and was just touched off in the Prix de l'Abbeye last season. War Artist finished down the field in Hong Kong last month when beaten by a poor draw. Eustace said: "He was a bit disappointing and didn't handle the bend but it was a good experience to go there and now we're looking at going to Dubai.

"He will be trained for the six-furlong Al Quoz Sprint and then he'll have a break. He may not be back in time for Royal Ascot but the July Cup is still a possibility, though. I think we'll look towards the Goldene Peitsche again in the long term."
