For you Hibby
Goldikova half-brother impressive on debut
Report: France, Monday
Fontainebleau
OCEAN SEVEN (Freddie Head/Mickael Barzalona), a half-brother to champion filly Goldikova, made an impressive debut at Fontainebleau on Monday when easily winning a newcomers' event.
Travelling comfortably in fourth position throughout the 1m1f event, the 3-1 favourite hit the front one and a half out.
Ocean Seven, a son of Green Tune, went on to win by an eased-down five lengths from Kigspirit Alca with Monarch's Way afurther three parts of a length away third.
Like Goldikova, Ocean Seven is owned and bred by the Wertheimer brothers and trained by Freddie Head.
Head said: "He is nothing like Goldikova physically, and takes his looks from his sire. He has a lot of quality and is very balanced with a nice action and a very good attitude. I think he is one of the best in my team of two-year-olds."
Head also had an update on seven-time Group 1winner Goldikova.
"She has come back very well from her trip and will be going back to the owner's stud this week," he said. "We will then talk about whether she will stay in training next year."

Fallon to replace Moore on Presvis at Lingfield
KIEREN FALLON will replace regular jockey Ryan Moore on international campaigner Presvis in the Listed Betdaq Churchill Stakes at Lingfield on Saturday.
The 1m2f race is being used a prep for the Group 1 Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Cup at Sha Tin on December 13.
Luca Cumani, who trains the five-year-old for Leonidas Marinopoulos, said: "Presvis is fine and in good form. The race comes at the right time for him, but it will be his first run for a while and his first on an artificial surface.
"If he does well on it, it will give us more options over the winter for places such as Dubai."
Moore, who has ridden Presvis on his last six outings, has been replaced by Fallon, who has been riding regularly for Cumani since his return in September from an 18-month drugs ban.
The Henry Cecil-trained Tranquil Tiger, winner of a Listed race at Goodwood in May, was among 13 entries published on Monday as was Suits Me, who performed consistently on the all-weather for trainer Tom Tate last season, and Bunbury Cup winner Plum Pudding.
Presvis, a Group 1 winner in the Audemars Piguet QEII Cup in Hong Kong in April, will be having his first run since he was agonisingly denied by Gloria De Campeao in the Singapore Airlines International Cup in April.
If allgoes well for Presvis, he will head to Hong Kong with high hopes of emulating 2003 winner Falbrav, also trained by Cumani.

All eyes on Presvis in Hong Kong Cup prep
GROUP 1 winner Presvis has eight rivals for his Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Cup prep in the Betdaq Churchill Stakes at Lingfield on Saturday.
Presvis has not run in Britain since September last year when he won the John Smith's Stakes at Newbury, but is set to line up in the 1m2f contest, for which Tranquil Tiger is the five-year-old top weight's nearest pursuer on 9st 4lb.
Ridden by Kieren Fallon, who replaces Ryan Moore on the Luca Cumani-trained contender, Presvis faces all-weather specialist Beauchamp Viceroy and the ultra-consistent Plum Pudding among his eight challengers.
