Agreed...not much to get excited about. We can only hope that there is a late bloomer in the pack although I doubt that we have anything remotely close to last season's top fillies.

Captain's Call to beat the draw for me, but it looks tricky and could easily go to an up-and-coming sort that rises above her merit rating. Just don't ask me which one!

My early fancy is Seminole but with not much confidence I might add...but if Kannemeyer throws a maiden winner into the fray, it usually means that it can run so Strawberry Ice must be considered too...
