Maybe not enough time but I think there is a lot of wastage. Some good ones but a lot of mediocre ones. And remember that Golan and Tartan Bearer are out of the same mare. With all respect she must be exceptional.

i recall you telling me at 2008 2yo sale that spectrums overseas stats didnt make for good reading ..maybe im not suffering from alzheimers

The average rating of Spectrum's progeny was not good. Daylami's was better-we shall see!

Also remember that the market can be quick to spurn horses. Silvano went through a flat spot at the sales but the sire of King's Gambit presently heads the log. Who would want to be a commercial breeder?
