Early claims for Thursday?

Good afternoon, just had a call to say "I see you have backed your horse scotia"
Well all I can say is I hope it runs well, but I did not have a bet, only own the tail.
I also see that Gajima's horse has also shortened?
Have been on Interbet and you can't take multiples, so all I can say is good luck to the early punters, will be cheering for you.

The "claim" on Eruption is not stable money. The time of the claim says it all. Imvho the 1st 2nd and 6th claims are all bullshit bookies claims where bookies front run the market in the expectation of being able to lay it back at a lower price. The fact that the book is around 143% after the "claim" is telltale.

I wish the person all the best as the filly has been held up in her work by both the state of the training tracks and a niggle from kicking her box after which a couple of planks were missing.

Down in distance to 1200m. As the Charles Laird stable would say " this is a prep run".

I see that Slumdog Oscar has been claimed into 4-1 joint favourite from a call of 14-1,absolutelly shocking, and after speaking to Lucky,he reckons the horse willbe needing more ground,so good luck to the guys who have put theire choppers on the block, but as a partner of the horse,i will be watching only, and idont think any of the partners will be at the track,so make up your own mind if its such a good thing.

It means that someone has put money down and the price has shortened. Have a look at www.bookies.co.za/ for a better idea of how claims work.

It does not take much to shorten prices on first timers as evident with Slumdog Oscar. A few hundred bucks to win R10 000 and price halves (almost)
