CNBC AFRICA LAUNCHES MONTHLY HORSE RACING SHOW

CNBC Africa is proud to announce the premier of a new monthly show titled Bloodline in association with Phumelela on Friday the 28th August 2009. Presented by Jacqui Nel and produced by Darren Kerr, the show will delve into the breeding, training, investment, expertise and passion of horse ownership and racing.

“Bloodline is an exciting addition to our programming line-up. The creative and production teams have approached this project with enormous enthusiasm and that will be reflected in the product. This show will prove that bloodline is not an exclusive advantage to race horses, but that a passion for horses runs in the blood of most people involved in this important industry. Expect a vibrant, visually exciting and editorially relevant show that is sure to ignite an interest in horses in anyone with a bit of cash to spare,” says head of programming, Jill de Villiers.

Bloodline will cover a full spectrum of topics related to the industry: the economics of horseracing, stud farms, job creation, social upliftment, consortiums, training, maintenance and nutrition, to name just a few exciting topics.

Be sure to watch Bloodline every last Friday of the month at 21:00, only on CNBC Africa.
