CHIEF STIPENDIARY STEWARD
(To be based in Malaysia)
CHIEF STIPENDIARY STEWARD
The Chief Stipendiary Steward heads the Panel of Stipendiary Stewards in Malaysia. The candidate must possess excellent skills in conducting investigations and inquiries. He should also have leadership qualities together with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The candidate must also possess the knowledge and expertise to implement constructive improvement in the existing racing system and have the capacity to undertake training programmes for the local stipendiary stewards.
He will also be required to recommend enhancements to the existing rules of racing and contribute towards the development of racing in Malaysia and Singapore including undertaking special project works when assigned. The successful candidate will be required to travel to the various racing centres in Malaysia and to Singapore if required in the course of his work.
Only persons with a thorough knowledge of horse racing with experience as a Chief Stipendiary Steward or Senior Stipendiary Steward with at least 10 years experience need apply.
