Fallon to try and do a Fortune...
15 years 10 months ago
Kieren Fallon has said he will be going all out "like never before" to try and win the title which he last won in 2003.
Fallon will be allowed return to riding after his 18-month drug ban ends on September 4 and is going all out for 2010 championship and overhauling Ryan Moore, who looks sets to be crowned champion jockey for a third time later this year.
Both Jocks have been working together for Sir Michael Stoute during the past year, but Fallon says there will be little room for friendship when they are fighting out a finish.
In an interview in Friday's Daily Telegraph, he said: "The only rivalry between us will be on the racecourse. Off the horse, it doesn't matter. I don'tcare what he is. But, when he's on a horse, in a race I'm in, he's my enemy."
"I think we'll be at each other's throats for the whole year. I know the way he's thinking. He wants to win more than anything else. He's already thinking of next year. He's not thinking of this year."
Fallon added: "I'm going to relish this. I love a fight, and I think Ryan is going to be the one, who raises my game. I'm looking forward to riding with him, it's a mile ahead of everything. I just love riding. I don't care whether it's a seller at Folkestone or the Guineas."
Everybody deserves a "second chance" although Fallon has had a few already i still reckon he deserves one and wish him all the best...
