Post race interviews for losing Jocks
15 years 11 months ago
i think a rider of the favorite horse in the race should always be interviewed regardless of the finishing position. how fair is it that most ppl lose money on a horse that was expected to win and yet no word from the jockey/trainer? it happens in other sports, both the winner and the loser appear for the post match interview, why not in horse racing. i'd like to hear the forum views on this one....

great point as i have seen it being done overseas most notably in the usa..the more tranhsparent the game can be the healthier it will become..there are so many simple things that could be done to improve the game but they are simply overlooked

Good point but how do you establish the true favorite - On form or through the tote or the bookie fav? But the idea is correct and it need not be an iterview it could be conducted by the stipes and published in the computaform

Great idea let them stand with target on their back while the interview is ongoing easier to hit them with the losing ticket while sitting in the stands.
