Jack Milner racing express.
It always pays to find at least one banker so one can load the other legs and Senor Sassi should answer the call in Race 5, a MR 74 Handicap over 1400m.
Joey Ramsden’s runner has won two of his three starts over the course and distance and is currently in dazzling form. The four-year-old Tara’s Halls gelding seems to be getting better with age and his form in soft going is exemplary. That is vital during the Cape winter, where good going is as likely as spotting Dave Mollett drinking at a milk bar.
Senor Sassi has run three times in the soft for two wins and a neck second to African Dancer in a 1200m race at Kenilworth.
He has top weight of 60kg, but that is offset by having Andrew Fortune in the irons. He is also not taking on a particularly strong field.
Choose The Groove looks the obvious danger, especially as the Basil Marcus yard is currently churning out the winners. The five-year-old Rambo Dancer gelding made a remarkable return to the racetrack after being out of action from September 2006 to February 2009. His three runs back have all been decent efforts culminating in a one-length victory from Crutches over this track and trip in his most recent start.
His time of 92.12sec leaves a lot to be desired when compared with Senor Sassi’s 87.98sec but times at the Cape can often be misleading. What is strange is that stable jockey Richard Fourie has picked stable companion Private Park so Grant Behr gets the ride aboard Choose The Groove.
Private Park will have it all to do from No 11 draw and on form will battle to beat Advocacy. Glen Kotzen’s runner took 12 starts to get off the mark and that only came after he was tried in blinkers. He followed that win with a 1.25-length second to Wild Kodiak a fortnight back when Private Park finished fourth.
Advocacy shows good pace in all of his races and from No 4 draw, should be competitive if Derryl Daniels can get him to settle - a problem Karl Neisius had to contend with when the gelding last competed.
Others with place chances include Chippendale, Captain Kidd and four-year-old filly Scarlet Grits

I have not had a bet for over a month but this intrigues me and will be playing singles/doubles and trebles win place on your selections.

One thing you can always count on around here is mature, reasoned and insightful conversation.....Easter bunny, Father Christmas, etc.
I'm starting to not see the point of posting on these forums any longer, to be honest.
