Interesting results from the Lasix research done in 2007. Some may feel that the demonstrable reduction in bleeding associated with the use of Lasix justifies the use of this performance enhancing drug. Others would certainly require longer term research relating to any possible negative side effects on health and wellbeing of the horse. Should any such data be available, they should be made available to further inform the debate.
