Kapil has only gone further than 1600 twice, once in Dubai in the Duty Free over 1800 where he was drilled by 6 lengths and the other time in the Met where he was comfortably beaten running on for 4th. Being a 6 year old its pretty obvious why wily old Stan the man has hardly raced him further than a mile before.
In my opinion Pocket Power, River Jetez, Big City Life, Smart Banker and a few others will either get first run or will simply outstay Kapil, who will be too far back in running or will be gasping for air with 200 to go if he goes too early or is handy.
A miler has virtually no chance in this field, nevermind the currents odds of 7% which the bookies are offering. Anyone taking this price is getting ripped off!
