Soundness!

Over the last few months,the amount of short priced horses (many used as PA bankers) that have been withdrawn at the start for various reasons would seem to be extraordinarily high.Almost all have been replaced in exotics by Tote favourites that don't subsequently qualify.
Before I get the deluge of "from your pocket" accusations,I can tell that my most profitable strategic change in racing has been to avoid the most obvious form and "buy" the PA rather than rely on form to win it.
Does it not concern the NHA that so many unsound horses are sent to race,and could this not be the reason for a lot of the inconsistent running(many more must run,than are withdrawn)

I sometimes wonder if I see things ... Jolly Jolly went to the start tonite as if he had an axe up his arse .... don't the vet watch them go down or was the 30kg bandages just too tight?
