Yes ismikle it is , remember the day I had my 1st winner. 5 bottles champagne , 3 bottles wine and a boardroom meeting the next day.

No I actually excused myself from the meeting and fell off to sleep in my office for a few hrs. Luckily I was not the only one in that state , most of the executives partied with me so we just moved the meeting to the next day.

ismikle,
Your day will come; one of my first big hopes finished 43 lengths behind on debut and then won her 3rd start.
Really not my place to talk, but here goes anyway (use it don't use it): I would be extremely hesitant to join a syndicate run by a guy who wants to send a juvenile straight to Kimberley after one fair run and wants to send a rather moderate mare running in PE to stud to breed more moderate horses.

Thanks Frodo.... I am not despondent about that run. I did not think it was clever to start her off around the bend, but that is the trainers decision as he knows what races are available.... and if she had won we would have been singing his praises...not so {smile}... But yes, talk of Kimberley is very premature in my opinion.
