Please post your views, here is the thoughts of Mel Kaplan from RXP.

LAWFUL Leader can make amends for a dreadful performance last time out when he lines up in Race 6, a 2200m Pinnacle Stakes, at Flamingo Park Monday. That 1800m race was Lawful Leader’s first outing after a layoff and he put in one of his worst performances to date in finishing 12.50 lengths behind stable companion Cape Chestnut.

LAWFUL Leader can make amends for a dreadful performance last time out when he lines up in Race 6, a 2200m Pinnacle Stakes, at Flamingo Park today. That 1800m race was Lawful Leader’s first outing after a layoff and he put in one of his worst performances to date in finishing 12.50 lengths behind stable companion Cape Chestnut.
He started deep in the red at 1-4, in spite of trainer Peter Miller stating in a televised interview that he felt ``on their work’’ Cape Chestnut had the better chance.
Lawful Leader’s form over 2200m - eight wins and a second - speaks volumes for his talent over the trip, he should strip fitter now and Andrew Fortune, who has won on this Brazilian import four times recently, retains the ride. Lawful Leader should recoup losses.
For Place Accumulator purposes punters will need to take his well-being on trust. In the Jackpot and Pick 6, Lawful Leader has plenty of support in the cast because Miller fields another four horses. Shergars Quest, the mount of Gunter Wrogemann, could prove to be the best of that quartet.
However, other runners look more dangerous if Lawful Leader fluffs his lines again.
Highveld-based Goldenaire ran well over 2000m at the Vaal on 5 March and recorded his maiden win over 2450m. While not a consistent individual, he has proved he gets the trip and is in form. He races on dirt for the first time but is by an American-bred stallion and could be well suited to the surface. He is a danger.
Consistent Magical Muse has not finished further back than third in his last seven runs, winning twice. He was a beaten favourite last time out when he made a breathing noise, but has a good draw and must come into calculations
