Vaal 19th?!?

An interesting days racing me thinks - here goes:
R1 - It appears the words out on Fan de Lago = play or avoid the race!
R2 - Brown's Hill to break her duck or a 1st timer like Vienna Ball to surprise?
R3 - Slight fancy for Sweet Faline over Bopa's Girl.
R4 - Da vinchi's Legacy, Commissionerstreet, & Superlative to fight out the finish
R5 - Thin Red Line looks slightly above the field.
R6 - Royal Rez to complete the hatrick - *Nb
R7 - A 'Hunch' for Heraldic Seal - but a very hard race to call!
R8 - Mr Magic looks thrown in & a 15/10fav to me - **Nap!
So I'll play a wee 'Lucky 15' with:
Mr Magic - Royal Rez, Thin Red Line and Sweet Faline - ouzo guys, Jim.

Hoping that Da Vincis runs a big run for the connections, but my treble would be Dan De Lago, Superlative and Thin Red Line.

Well I'm for one are quite chuffed that the 'modestly'? bred son of Goldkeeper managed to beat the much vaunted Aus import - well done to the stable and Wally Brits. Yes I know, small things .....

Mr H
Did not mean to degrade Goldkeeper - I have always rated him as a sire and that cross has produced many a winner (including off course the full brother Speed for Gold) but 'modest' seemed the right word when making comparisons to Encosta de Lago.
Elvis
So maybe our Durban partner will reconsider his investment choices and give our filly a break?
