Kenilworth Selections

If anyone is looking for decent each way value I would say that race 3 is where you should be looking. Included some others to consider too.
Race 3 CAIUS JULIUS 8/1. If you look at the form lines, decent runs behind Camen Island and Big City life albeit in the maidens excites me. Those horses have gone on to bigger and better things and the MR shows this. Second choice would be Summer School always support this yard and connections and the run behind National Colours full brother (National Anthem) may turn out to be the winning form line. National Anthems MR is at the upper end of the 70's though whereas BCL and Camen Islands MR's are far better.
Probably a nice boxed exacta.
Race 4 DORIAN GRAY 25/1 - Place bet. Michael Roberts has brought stable jock Sturgeon down to ride this one. Form line also tells a story. This horse beat a decent sort Kevino's Boy - KB has gone on to win 4 races since then. 3rd run after a rest for DG could be massive place value at 25/1.
Race 5 LA SIRENNE 7/1 - Beat Cocoa Beach in the maidens and must be pretty decent. Nice each way again.
Race 8 TEMAIR - 4/1 - This one has potential and beat Consensual in the Fillies Guineas. Consensual was not fully up to it at the time to be fair. Temair 4th in the FG good enough to win a race like this. Goat a big danger at a bigger price and has also raced against Consensual but when she was firing.
Amature analysis - use it dont use it. Started learning how to use Form Grids What a great tool well done David Safi and his team. www.formgrids.co.za/

In the last at Kenilworth an EW is #10 Crown Colony.
It ran 9/16 in its first run, 8 lengths off Prairie Fire; in 2007.
It could either run last [needing the run] or it could come out fresh and run a really good race.
It has the outside draw, and if fit, 40/1 could be a very nice EW...
Looked reasonable in the canter past...
