Re : Jockeys riding fees

I would like to make a suggestion pertaining to jockey riding fees.I think if owners were responsible for paying the jocks racing fees then they might make an effort to actually ride ur horse , follow the trainers instructions and show a iota of respect and gratitude and not strut around like little gods.Because at the end of the day IT IS OWNERS that are the backbone of racing.I do not put all the jocks under one umbrella ,there are some that do work hard and try hard i just wish those would come my way.

If one left it to the owners , they would pay their jockeys as well as the pay their trainers! I would say let the trainer pay or the jockey would starve. This statement concerning owners does not apply to all owners but rather those with short arms and deep pockets and those with the biggest mouths !
