Thoughts ....
R1: On form imo Midnight Special looks hard to beat; Master's Lady drawn on the inside with de Melo up - should be 2nd best again if ignoring last poor effort
R2: Shining Sun buying money on form - should prove more effective this distance
R3: Hot Choice another who should enjoy the trip and probably hard to beat; Ex-Cape fillies (a year older) should both be thereabouts if they are ready after breaks
R4: Closely rated on 'best weighted' runs; The Equator on both form and official ratings has something to find; on their last meeting Fire 'n Flames is the one to beat, but pace in this 7-horse field may lead to an upset - even Hotarubi at 40s is better off against The Equator ....
R5: Closely contested handicap - at 7s African Prince back to the track and trip where he ran close 2nds looks the value, but imo only Richard the First and Famous Lady can safely be ignored
R6: Kortvandraad gets visiting jock Sean Veale on board, but even so imo Pretty Analia at double the odds at Kortvandraad looks the value; Eight Hats is proving very disappoing - had every chance in her last run from a good draw but perhaps the allowance would nake her competitive; don't think that Concordia and Secret Life are not at best this trip
R7: i think this is a 2-horse war between Trombolines and Ariovistus, but Gran Canaria ran to much higher last time, so would be foolish to ignore him
R8: Quite a competitive handicap for the girls; I guess that Merryweather is back to her best, but I think many have chances
R9: i think that Bay Empire is a cut above the rest, but I thought so before when beaten by Michael Faraday over the track and trip. so imo at 8's is the value play - even though comfortably held on his last run over 1600
Enjoy
