4RACING’S WEIGHTED TO WIN ENTERS A BOLD NEW ERA WITH WORLD SPORTS BETTING

 

Johannesburg, South Africa — As South African racing welcomes the start of a new breeding and racing season, 4Racing's popular daily racing and betting show, Weighted To Win, is set to return with a fresh new identity under the sponsorship of World Sports Betting (WSB).

Launching its new look on 1 August, Weighted To Win will unveil a refreshed studio, updated branding and enhanced on-screen experience, while continuing to deliver the expert racing analysis, betting insight and engaging discussion that viewers have come to rely on. The programme will continue to be fronted by respected racing personalities Clyde Basel and Darryl Maree, broadcasting both from the studio and live from racecourses around the country.

The relaunch marks the next chapter in an enduring relationship between 4Racing and World Sports Betting. Since 2016, WSB has been a committed 4Racing partner through its sponsorship of flagship events including the WSB Grand Heritage and the East Cape Derby. The extension of that partnership into Weighted To Win further reflects both organisations' shared commitment to growing the sport, enhancing the fan experience and making racing more accessible to new and existing audiences.

The refreshed format will retain these core strengths while introducing a contemporary visual identity that reflects the energy and excitement of the modern racing landscape.

As Elvis says .... the show must go on .... but I do not give a continental who ito WSB, Hollywood, Betway etc sponsors it  .... after WSB stuffed up their website (and today you could not even get the betting on WSB until later - not sure who is responsible for that bugger-up - and this was not the first time it happened) I really am not bothered - but the biggest checque book seals the deal; and I'm not saying that Maree is not the greatest tipster - far from it
