Tickets go on sale for the 130th Hollywoodbets Durban July

 

The Hollywoodbets Durban July returns for its landmark 130th edition, with tickets now officially onsale for Africa’s greatest horse racing and social event.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, 4 July 2026,when Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse sets the stage for one of the most anticipated highlights on South Africa’s racing and social calendar.

Expect a winning blend of world-class horse racing, highfashion, music and entertainment - all coming together to create an unforgettable experience. This year’s theme is “Country Allure”, inviting designers, fashion enthusiasts and racegoers to explore the interplay between rural landscapes and equestrian elegance.

The result is expected to be a celebrationof bold, imaginative and unbridled creativity. Stephen Marshall, Head of Marketing, Major Events and Broadcast at Race Coast, says the Hollywoodbets Durban July has long been a magnet for those who share a passion for horse racing and the glamour that surrounds it. “‘Country Allure pays homage tothe elegance and authenticity at the heart of the sport’s heritage. It reflects the beauty of the landscapes where thoroughbreds are raised and trained, while inspiring creativity, and celebrating the charm of the countryside,” he says.

General admission entrance tickets are now on sale via Ticketpro. For a limited period, these are available at a special, Early Bird price of R250.

These will grant you access to the racecourse and includes unreserved grandstand seating, access to public bars and food trucks, access to the official after-party, and access to the tote. Picnic sites and VIP hospitality package tickets are to be sold separately and must be bought from Ticketpro, in addition to a general admission entrance ticket. These provide exclusive access to luxurious enclosures, premium viewing areas, and top-tier catering.

Red Dot public parking, for R170 a car, is available on the golf course, with access from DLI Avenue.

Please note: Your parking ticket does not include entry to the Hollywoodbets Durban July or the Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse.

Early ticket pricing is available for a limited time, with general admission set to increase to R280 at a later date to be announced.
