Roman Agent having it’s peak run, with a 4.5kg swing at the weights. RA needed the last run, suffered from second run after a rest syndrome when tiring very late in the race. Mxothwa needs to apply pressure on Elusive Winter from the jump, don’t allow Plaatjies to set a sedate gallop and turn it into a sprint up the straight, then it will be difficult to peg back Elusive Winter.

Race (7)
Lowveld Lillie excuse last start, collateral form behind Viva La Vida is strong, Viva La Vida has won twice since being beaten by Lowveld Lillie. Should be competitive if not in need of the run.

Race (
Black Eagle repeat of the last effort should see him in the winner’s enclosure, especially off the weight.

Race 5, think it's worthwhile taking on Better Man with King's Quest. Whilst in receipt of 5.5kgs, Better Man is not well weighted. Also not sure 3 year olds are strong enough beyond 1600m at this stage of their careers. 

What's with the tiny fields?

Some value for me on the day 
Race 1 Panjandrum 10/1 ,  good debut and should show big improvement with fourie on top 
Race 8: Green planet 10/1 , in good form and should go very close in this field

Not sure if i heard correctly, Race 2, #3, now Fourie and blinkers added, beware, game on.
