AMERICAN PITBULL (C Little) took a number of awkward strides shortly after the start. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. AMERICAN PITBULL (C Little) returned with a unilateral epistaxis (RHS) due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended for a period of 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. Jockey C Little (AMERICAN PITBULL) appeared before the Board and was reminded that in terms of Rule 70.1.2 he is obligated to report anything that might affect the performance of his mount.
