R1, whilst there is support for first-timer, Lark's Song, still think Beautiful One is the one to be with. Jumped out last start and recovered quickly to be up with the pace, think that was the reason she had nothing to come in the closing stages of the race. If she gets away okay, she's the one to beat.
R3, Beach Verse. opened 18/10, currently 1/1. Was suppose to run about 3 weeks ago, that meeting was abandoned due to underfoot conditions.She was strongly supported for that meeting as well. Whilst newly turned 3 year olds are suspect beyond 1400m at this point of their careers, looking at the older horses, not much jumps off the page, except stable companion, Given To Fly. People will be draw to her because of Domeyer's "choice of rides", considering he has ridden both. That is only because he cannot make the weight on Beach Verse. Should Domeyer win the first race, would love to hear his opinion, if he had the choice, which horse he would have chosen here. The draw and lack of pace could be a negative, but hoping she will appreciate the extra and run them down.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

We have Elusive Gift in race 3. Improved run last time while still soft, and should appreciate the step up in trip. Gets a nice draw and good jock. We are expecting further improvement and if so, can run into the money.
Not much between Given To Fly and Beach Verse and they look the 2 to beat despite wide draws. Quite a competitive race as American Beauty fair debut behind good winner Wander Dune, Up In Flames and Wait for Me all lightly raced and can improve.
Race 1 and 2 many first timers, but of the raced runners I like Laydelay and Greenchoice.
Race 4 Captain’s Alliance, Katsu and Blind Date
Race 5 open- Boogiefied plum draw and consistent form
Race 6 Wehaveasituation
Race 7 Legal Counsel is progressive, Kindawonderful and Sohot Sowhat get the allowance, Dumbledore and Let It Be Said -tough draws but capable.
Race 8 Tres Chic in a weak race gets the draw and the apple allowance

No doubt about it, THE CANDY MAN at his best......... weaving in & out of traffic & still managing to get up on the line.
