Kenilworth Saturday

Assuming that they race on Saturday..................
I have Parade Prince running in the 9th with something approaching a manageable draw. The race is loaded with intrigue :
Jockey Schlechter jumped off last time stating ' There's not enough money from a decent draw ' etc. Interestingly he has now jocked himself off my horse to ride Dolfie Maeder's horse. Adding fuel to the fire is that it is owned by Philip Zurnamer who my brother works for and whom I know very well......... As they say -the plot thickens.
Also in the race is a Mike Bass horse named Emperor n Napoleon ( what were they smoking when they named this one? ). At the 2007 Vintage Sale I schlepped out to Durbanville to buy this horse on the advice of Form Bloodstock. Unfortunately my limit of 100k never even got me in to the bidding as he sold for 300k. So it would be nice to beat him!
Having said all that I won't even be at Kenilworth as the race clashes with the international rugby. Regrettably Maiden Plates, by comparison, hold lesser appeal as I am likely to be heavily 'involved' in the rugby.
Nevertheless I understand the horse is very well and a good performance is expected. I don't think his price will make him a betting proposition for me. That should make him a penalty kick!
