Do the trainers get fined for the TCO2?

......can't believe the price on Choisaanada after Immediate Edge's win.....maybe Erico did not need to have a punt as the P6 may have been in the bag.....

The Equator would have been something really special to win first time out on the rock hard going at Turffontein today, having won his Maiden at Leopardstown in Heavy going.
He didn't cost a fortune too, about Guineas
55,000, a Coolmore bred Galileo at a Tattersalls sale in 2024, having raced in their colours.
Yet to have won under 2000 mts, the one time winner has run his best runs on a left hand track from distances of 2000mts to 2850mts.
I'm thinking about the Gb bred son of Averov out of Camina Bay which as a Stallion produced sprinters like Sorevof and out and out stayers like Aquanaut.
That he won The Met and not the July or Summer Handicap, my thoughts are that this horse would be aimed at The Met next year or even the Gold Cup this year.
Imo he would probably need a galloping track.
