......and many fancied horses not ever raced on a poly surface.....will watch and tread carefully.....an opportunity or 2 may coax me to dive in later should any patterns emerge....
 

Surface looks like it will be firm and faster than it was with less kickback.

There is a poly training track at Summerveldt if I am not mistaken. If that has also been upgraded then trainers would have galloped their horses on the surface. Maybe someone can comment?

After leveling the surface and with the rain helping settle the track I am watching to see if there is any natural bias in the first few races and if winners can come from off them.

.....I believe that some shrewdies volunteered horses to test this surface.....wonder if any info will be forth coming to joe punter.... or we get to hear after the fact in the winning  interviews.....huh

This poly is the best.

Great ride by the winner in r1.  The weight made all the difference.

Looks fair and going on top with limited kickback, winner ran on from off them. Should be form results....
