I hope you will participate in the competitions we have running currently, the table at the Julie Alexander Charity Day, should be another winner to follow on from the Summer Cup Day.
I have made my 5 selections for the Interbet/Mike Bass competition and it could be difficult to selected the correct combinations, but do some homework by visiting the Mike Bass website.
We should also finalise another chance to win some more Hollybucks this week via Hollywoodbets.
The ante-post market is a bit dead at present with the flat season coming to an end and the jumps getting under way, but next weekend its the Paddy Power Gold Cup and we might as well stick with Jack the Giant, as the name Giant would appear hot (The Giant, Our Giant). In addition we have the Greatwood Hurdle, where I hope to see Rippling Ring regain form?
We also have the Betfair Chase on the 22nd, where I am hoping to see Kauto Star winning and going on to do the same on Boxing Day in the King George.
On the local front, hoping to see some betting soon for the Summer Cup? Was at the big "T" yesterday and had a good day, very impressed with Our Giant and Sweet Sanette(one to follow). Check the parade ring on the home page, looking good.
This week rather quiet on the social front, but its a lull before the storm, the week from the 24th to the 30th is hectic, includes 2 whisky evenings, plus a couple of functions, so back on a diet this week and will try and last to Wed. this time.
We had supper on Sat. with friends we are going on holiday with, he is an ex professional soccer player and his wife is basically a aerobics fitness star, so have to make a plan! He told me I should buy a second skin shirt, so I went to Sportsman's Warehouse and bought one, I nearly dislocated my shoulder trying to fit it, so a good start, will go for a jog/walk tonight and treat my body like a temple for the next few days, and maybe build up to the comrades?
