Piss poor fields in both events to be honest.

Had a look at the card and is a R70 pick 6 permutation an overkill??

Field
4 bankers and
Field

Should I cut back on races 4 and 9 🤣

Multiple odds of 4 bankers is only in the region of 9/2
is that a better fixed odds than the projected pick 6 payout?

One question, if Zeitz rated 97 beats Eight on Eighteen rated 127 , what will his rating go too ?

......Zeitz has a stout female line indicating genetic stamina yet full sibling The Grey King seems to be a bit range bound and although a possible contender to unseat the Met winner but will have to pace it with all of the rest of Snaith's other charges sure to make it a true run 10 furlong affair for Eight on eighteen to swoop in the final furlong
....I rate Garrix as a bigger threat to spoil the Snaith party as he is now 3kg better off to Zietz and seems to also want the trip.....but with all these tactics in a small field some of the scheming is bound to come undone....oops

My opinion, yes Snaith has kept 5 runners in the race to "keep it alive", otherwise there may not have been a race this year. Think, Express Yourself, same ownership as the favourite, is there to ensure a truer pace.

If the ratings are correct, Eight On Eighteen, is the closest thing we will see to a racing certainty in 2025.

Imagine the brave souls who took the 4/1 about Eight On Eighteen when One Stripe was a nominee.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

......the problem appears that Snaith may have the numbers but none seem to show that they can jump and pace......as most have shown that they battled to get out of the gates....oops
