I like to think oshin Murphy doesn't come for the view but summer cup day he didn't have a great day. I'm leaning towards Royal aussie for now might change on the day.

If Gavin Lerena makes the weight, then One Stripe is the one they all have to beat.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I think Gavin will get the weight for such an opportunity - one thing this will show whetther the 3yr-olds are up to the task (I believe Karel Miedema does not think so); food for thought is that Snow Pilot won the Guineas last year rated 109 - and One Stripe won 3 weeks ago rated 118; OS also holds SP comfortably on the race when they met at Durbanville in October - and arguably OS would be more suited over 1600 - so OS imo will justify his rating; biggest danger I think is Oriental Charm, while there should not be too much between OC and Royal Aussie; imo See It Again has not run to his lofty rating for quite a while now, and I'm not in his camp; Montien on a line through Royal Aussie should probably place but imo has it all to do from that draw; so first three imo is One Stripe, from Oriental Charm and Royal Aussie
