Interesting runner in the first Paul Revere... half brother (on the dam side) to Captain Lannister and Two Guns.... rested 'to mature' after mediocre runs. Has been money for it from 50's into 16's. Maybe include in Qtet's and Tfa's.

Thoughts - the draws down the straight in the earlier races might give a clue how the rest of the meeting will go - and the threat of rain complicates matters further ....
R1: Kwagga Blitz good form before the last poor effort - chance in an open contest
R2: Best bet on the card imo Pretty Precious
R3: Garlandsofgreenery imo much too short - good last effort, but may need a little further (out of a Dynasty mare); Sorceress Supreme has lost form but has run close behind Quid Pro Quo at level weights - so a danger imo, while the spook might be Valieva who tries blinkers
R4: The Merciful has beaten Mishra 3 times in-a-row, and even Lerena may not change that; Mo Ment is coming to form and could upset the other two if he gets the 2400
R5: Competitive handicap as Royal Edition despite being out-at-the-weights, holds Thunee Playa on the last time they met; TP in good form and may prove more suited to the 2000 than Red Maple, despite RM being best in; Arumugan improving but is another who looks better over more ground
R6: Not getting any easier, as even Tchaikovsky (best form at this track) at 33s not without a chance as any of these can win imo
R7: Open again; many with chances imo; Pomodoro's Jet tries cheek pieces and not a lot between him and The Africa House when they last met - another race to include as many as the budget allows
R8: At first glance it should lie between Confederate and Count Invicto, but Jury's Out is finding support in the market and needs to be included
R9: Another trappy handicap to close; imo only the Fourie factor makes One More Star the favorite imo; both Diwali Rocket (good last win) and Guy Alexander (in good form) not without a chance
