Good morning all as we eventually get to the Rugby World Cup Final.
Time flies when you are enjoying yourself.
I will be using my new scarf and cap to cheer on the Boks but I really can't see them beating the All Black's on current game performances.
Wearing the Bok scarf has certainly been a good cure for constipation.
The racing last weekend from Ascot was top class and Frankie was out of this world at his favourite track.
On a negative note, Frankie has lost his mount in the Melbourne Cup due to a ban for excessive whip use on Champions Day.
Melbourne Cup is on Tuesday 7th November and Vauban 4/1 remains fav.
This weekend we have the following betting considerations and there appears to be a positive upswing in racing ownership and the better horses are also hitting the tracks.
We are racing from Turffontien on Saturday.
Richard Fourie will be riding which is always worth noting.

Sandringham Summit has to try and beat MAIN DEFENDER, not forgetting Gimmeanotherchance.
Charity Mile:
A very open affair where you will need plenty of runners in your pick 6 unless you are looking for a SAFE PASSAGE. 😉
ZEUS has been great to follow recently and is taken to arrive again and is the banker.
We also have racing from Hollywood Greyville
SEE IT AGAIN will be the draw card.
The Queen Bee and The Shepherd are also potential bankers.
On the home front Mrs S & I find ourselves on the road again after only being home for 8 days.
George has the opening of his new wine shop venture on Friday and then it's off to Joburg for approximately 6 weeks.
Then it's home again for approximately one week then off to KZN for the festive season with family and friends.
For my music option I thought of using Davy's on the Road again from Manfred Mann ( South African born)...
In regard to future holiday's perhaps we should consider a caravan tour of SA as overseas trips are definitely a no go with the exchange rate.
I am still sickened by current and potential future events in the Middle East and not forgetting the war in Ukraine.
We can only try our best to enjoy life to the full and pray for the many less fortunate people living in horrendous circumstances.
