So if the punter can navigate the rain , soft track and weird false rail added to the Big trainer guess which one we gonna let win today puzzle we the punter could be in for a good day at the Durbanville.

Rowing in with these :-
R3) Rainbow Lorikeet, despite having to concede weight all round, the collateral form from the last run has produced two winners in their next outings.
R4) Trippi's Silk, has improved with every run, having it's peak run and should appreciate going the extra. Played the double with R3.
R9) Savantrix, may need the run, but was very impressive when winning a maiden. Must be a runner today. Treble with the above two.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

A tricky card. There is still rain about, but not too much forecast, and the course had dried out by yesterday, so hopefully will get through the day ok. The wide false rail will help to avoid the problem patch.
Race 1 Strata is well exposed and overdue her maiden win. Fanny Kemble showed good improvement last time and is a big danger. If looking for spooks, Bright Duchess good draw and could improve from fair debut when tiring late. A few first timers but they will need to be above average.
Race 2. Ellorix has good form, but a very wide draw. Of the raced runners, Montreal and Ticket To Vegas look the dangers. Cabaret could be an improver.
Race 3. Rainbow Lorikeet has been priced up at 12/10 which looks too short in a maiden handicap where she carries top weight. She looks very useful, gets the draw and is on the up, but there is better value elsewhere. Enchanted Sky improved last time and must be a danger. Golden Corn also showed improvement and gets the 2.5kg claim. National Disgrace is 5.5kg better off with Enchanted Sky for 4L last time. A trappy looking race.
Race 4 Trippi's Silk looks the right one, but again meets some older horses on handicap terms so will be tested.
Race 5 Luce Verde looks the right one here, but an open race and a few with chances.
Race 6 The fillies get 3 kg and I think that this race is mispriced. Woman's World, Mothership and Lucy the Pink in that order.
Race 7 A competitive race. Go wide. Wugug is my pick
race 8 Some decent 3yos meet here. Candy Town looks smart.
race 9 I'm with the 3yos here. Savantrix, Lines Crossed, Whiskey Bravo, Double Olympic

Well this time they are not leaving it up to the jocks to miss the wet patch - I think Strata is a bit limited, so I like Fanny in the first

Never considered that one - could not even win getting weight in the Maidens - but obviously has improved a bit over the 1000
