Zoro and Scotia after the July.

Good morning all as we head for another weekend after the July .
I must say we had a very busy social and long weekend but it's back to normal until the Gold Cup.
From a financial point of view Zietsman made it a great Friday with the stable one two and the cash machine El Romiachi won again.
Humble also ran a cracker on the poly at huge odds.
PE also starts this weekend and I have a similar choice to make between two friends horses in the eight and a dead heat would be the best result between the soldier and the volcano.
We have some top class racing from Sandown on Saturday where the highlight should be the Eclipse, unfortunately it's only a 4 horse race or should I say a match race between PADDINGTON and Emily Upjohn.
Two top trainers and jockeys in a tactical battle.
If John Gosden has to play second fiddle to the Obrien genius, he can gain compensation with Mimikyu and win the Lancashire Oaks at Haydock.
I posted this on the site and it's one of Rabbie Burns Classics.
"O wad some Power the giftie gie us, to see oursels as ithers see us!”
From another of his most celebrated and comical poems, Tae a Louse, this quote roughly translates to mean it would be a wonderful gift from God if we were able to see ourselves as we are seen by others. Burns goes on to say that this ability would prevent us from making silly or embarrassing mistakes. Perhaps if some government ministers and officials had this power today, they would not be so confident in their convictions.
This is a bit of a rushed post as we are leaving shortly to officially celebrate Mrs S 70th birthday with the Grandkids and hopefully check a few Zebra crossings.
Good Punting 👍
A last word to the bookies from the punters "you never give me your money" plus a couple of pics of Georgie and me in the Indian Ocean.
The end ......

Well we did not have to look for the Zebras crossing, they came to us 👍
If we stayed another day we could have seen ploar bears 🐻
