Let me say this for a solution that the ambulance should keep a spare jock on standby if this becomes more frequent.

I do value jocks input especially the caliber of Gavin and SManga but can't remember this happening in the UK but maybe it does happen overseas?

He definitely did but you need just one time that the vet is wrong and that could be it for the horses career or worse.

This trend is a problem.
Some jockeys may do it for the welfare of the horse and their own safety. Others however may not so upstanding when refusing to ride a horse. NHRA needs to urgently address this. Either the VET is final say or jockey not both.

To compound my misery,the delay has resulted in the best jockey in SA to leave early to catch a flight. Leaving a totally inferior jockey on the one I backed in the last.
Couldn’t make it up😂😂😂
