Please note : Although we have tried to give the Vaal Main Track every opportunity to be ready for tomorrow’s carded meeting (4/10/22), our track managers have unanimously agreed that that the surface is not entirely ready to race on.
We have therefore decided that the following meetings will all take place on the Vaal Classic Track which is in unbelievable racing condition.
4/10/22 6/10/22 13/10/22
These changes will allow us to work on the Vaal Main Track for another 3 weeks and return to racing on this track for the scheduled meeting on the 1/11/22.
It’s important to note that after numerous requests by trainers not to scarify the Vaal Main Track and Turffontein Standside track together , we have found ourselves on the backfoot to keep the Vaal Main Track in racing condition throughout the winter.
We have not been able to get the growth expected over the last couple of weeks which leaves us in this situation.
We do believe that we will be able to sort out the few areas of concern over this period. Please take note of the following distance changes to these meetings:
4/10/22
• Races 1,2,5,6,7 remain as is.
• Races 3,4,8 will now be run over 1450m
6/10.22
• Races 1,2,3,4,6,7 will remain as is
• Race 5 will be run over 1200m
• Race 8 will be run over 1450m
13/10/22
• All distances remain as is.

Tomorrow’s meeting scheduled for the VAAL TURF TRACK has been moved to the VAAL CLASSIC TRACK.

Please note as per Hollywoodbets T & C’s - all fixed odds bets on races 3 , 4 , 6 , 7 & 8 ( races that were scheduled to run down the straight – and are now around the turn) are null and void and need to be re-taken.

All TOTE BETS will stand – (customers can cancel and re-take their bets if they want)

New field sheets are available.

Power issue at the Vaal race 3 due to run at 14:15

The guy keeps telling us we can confirm the money is coming for Raven black but in actual fact its coming for big five... Now due to power supply issues racing delayed until 14:15, surely there is a generator? 4 Q has had nearly a year and still are so absolutely crap, its run like Eskom
