Cousin Casey. I hope that he trains on, and becomes our next superstar!

OK keeping away from my personal highs.

I would like racing in general have an upswing against all odds.

All the main players getting together and establish the best way forward and reduce the power struggles.

I still think the tote should stop taking win and place bets and the bookies should stop taking open exotic bets as a starting point 👉

For me, there's not many three year olds who were juveniles in the KZN season, that go on and dominate the Cape summer season, Dynasty may have been the exception. The ones who dominate the KZN season, for me, were a lot more forward about four or five months ago, than some who never went to KZN. Conversely other strengthen up and that does them the world of good.

The Cape Guineas betting is testament to this, in that, Cousin Casey is a Grade 1 winner at 9/2, and Charles Dickens, who never won a Grade 1 race yet, is 16/10, albeit unbeaten to date.

I'll be following Bright Green, whoa, before you tell me Cousin Casey has beaten him before, I'll wait till they meet again. Why isn't De Melo riding Bright Green on Wednesday, he might need the run. Wouldn't be surprised if he did win, however i don't think they'll cut him in half to win a Middle Stakes race which is not the main mission. Wouldn't be disappoint either if he didn't win, would be happy to see a come on effort.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
