This happens often in the UK with 4 to 6 runner fields. Everyone expects the Quartet to pay bigger and they neglect to take the Trifecta. In this race the top 4 in the betting arrived with the other two huge outsiders. The favorite was odds on though.

......noted...but here the TF shortie did not win....but a 5/1 3rd fav.....and although I am not a quartet fan have been playing them in UK small fields as they normally pay a lot better than local....until this result....boxing the top 3 in a trifecta really paid much much better..... :huh:
