Another tricky race and I don’t have anything I particularly fancy.

I must say I’m very surprised to see #4 DROGHIERE (12-10) this short in the market. He has an obvious form chance, but he looks best when he can dictate and that is not guaranteed from a 5 draw in this field. #1 will use her 1 draw to hold her position and probably take up the running, so the Fav could easily get caught up in a speed battle with her. The spur is set at 8m for today’s racing and that tends to negate the big advantage lows draws would normally have on this track, so one of those just tracking the pace could get it set up for them. I don’t fancy anything, but at 12-10 I’M AGAINST #4 DROGHIERE.

SELECTION: Nil, but I’m opposing the Fav #4.
