Highly unlikely that Snaith catches him, but it’s not impossible. He would need Peter to have a shocker but there is about R10m up for grabs in the following races alone

Surely races like the July should be excluded from the Championship given just how much bigger the prize money is compared to other feature races. Seems like whoever wins the July has an unfair advantage.

IMHO Snaith may not even finish 2nd he has a real threat from Sean Tarry.
Before Derby day in the Cape Snaith was 2.2 million ahead of Paul Peter he is now 4.4 million behind him thats a swing of 6.6 million in 3 months.Paul is averaging 19.11 winners a month for the 9 months if he continues at this rate he will finish on 230 winners for the season which will be a new SA record.

After today at Turffontein,Paul Peter went another 200k clear to close on 4.6 million,Sean Tarry had another 2 winners as well as winning the Fillies Guineas in KZN,my prediction is Tarry will run 2nd in the trainers championship.
