4Racings New Presenter???

Not sure if I should be shocked or if it was predictable… is this 4Racings New and “IMPROVED” presenter??
Two words come to mind Appalling, Substandard.

Racing is already in a sad way and the lack of knowledge in the so called “higher powers” is frightening is this what they are hiring to SAVE the sport?? Cause if it is we are headed for catastrophe!!

I saw the interview with Tarry and De Kock. The guy look like a solid individual and if this was his first contribution to 4Q, he has potential. I don’t know whether he is knowledgeable on racing, however this should not be an issue for the job he is doing, if he is managed by a competent person. The latter is a real concern at 4Q given the family and friends preferential recruitment policy of 4Q and the diabolical results to date.

No he was outstanding!! Well spoken and well groomed he really did fly the flag very high for 4Racing!

The chap I’m referring to was doing interviews at the back parade ring at Turffontein yesterday!! Please try and source it and revert back to me on your thoughts.

This is not the presenter I was referring to, I agree completely with you! Well dressed individual with all the scope in the world for improvement he carried himself in a professional manner and I was pleasantly surprised.

The chap I was referring to was the “new” presenter doing interviews in the back parade ring at Turffontein yesterday, Mid interview he walks off air to get the book he forgot and walked back in to carry on the interview! Please believe me it was nothing short of dismal. Go watch his interview with Calvin Habib in race 9!

Actually know this guy…And I’m chuffed for him!!

His name is Kabelo Pitori, you have probably seen him doing the Zulu previews on CTG

He contacted me years ago, asking if I could help him get a job in racing ..

He’s very hard working and probably knows more about horses ( the animal ) than punting.

He’s worked for the BSA and the horse care units, and travels Africa helping rural communities with their animals.

He’s also a spotter at the auctions …

Sure he will master the presenting! Let’s get behind him 😎

Let's not get too carried away I think.

Give a 3 month trial probation and let's see if any value is brought to the Tote pools and whether the majority of the people (SA) will be coming into the game in droves.

Otherwise it's a case of C Mthembu 2.

For those that did not get to watch 240 yesterday, they introduced 2 new guys - as far as I'm aware it was the first time om the box for both of them - so I agree let's not judge them on one try; that being said, imo the guy doing the interviews with Tarry and de Kock (not sure why they never got to Peter and van Vuuren - but that I don't believe is the interviewer's fault) was ok and may have a future - the other guy in the parade ring - well the less said the better :dry:

Nothing shocking about the lack of quality of 4Racing anymore. Just had a look at their website for the interviews and I and appalled by the standard of the writing and the many grammatical errors. How anyone took them seriously to begin with is mindboggling!
