How the fuck is anyone studying form supposed to know that a horse coming of a rest is coming back fit or not, as in the case of Sonnenstrahl. You have certain trainers proudly boast about what a good bet a horse was on form after it returns from a break and wins, and then you have cases like this where the horse clearly is not ready to run competitively. Mugs game.

It would be far more useful for the on course presenters to ask trainers of 1st timers, Gelded and rested horses for a comment prior to the race.
There tipping is generally not great and their exotics will lead u to the poor house. so drop the time they use for that to interview trainers.
This would also stop them gloating post race when they find a winner.
