Bling won't be severely spoken to for sure.
There was an element of doubt about DM staying 1800 mt.
MDK has bigger issues to worry about.
Both DM and Clafoutis in the Stipes report showed abnormal respiratory noises post race.

Bling was well prepared for any outcome on DM.

He was spotted at the Metrobus depot in Braamfontein yesterday morning doing forward rolls under the busses. The Depot Manager was puzzled what this guy was training or preparing for?

On the other hand they are surely happy with the effort of Definitely Maybe who ran as much as 20 points above her rating - not sure what the handicapper will do, but she should be a shoe-in next time in a handicap - may also take her place in the Oaks
