Life Is Good, broke brilliantly and never looked back. He blitzed the opposition into submission although Breeders Cup winner Knicks Go, who is also a front runner never really had a chance to go on the lead. It was a phenomenal performance. Life Is Good was the ante post Kentucky Derby favourite last year before being scratched. Also was with Baffert before changing stable.
It will be interesting year with Flightline also shown to be exceptional. That will be a race for the ages. The Pegasus was over 1800m, so Life Is Good, should just about get the 2000m with his style of racing.
