Re: Time to Boycott KZN Racing?
3 years 6 months agoWell you probably referring to the shocking run of the r1 fav i backed it too. Fact is it happens and it was our choice to back it. If we thought it was a useless weak fav then its our fault not the trainer or jockey nobody is holding a gun to your head to punt it. So i am confused because you get beat on a bad decision of your own which i did the same now your solution is to boycott kzn racing ? sorry but with all due respect i don't see the logic. If there is any.
It's obviously our choice but we expect a decent run from the 5-10 shot who had the best form in the race yet runs unplaced beaten 6 lengths.
Yes horses are animals but that excuse and horses make fools of us has become the SA racing motto.
Surely you can see that punters have left in huge numbers, and why is that?
It's obviously because they don't trust and have no confidence in our racing and the ability of most involved.
If they winning they won't leave that's for sure so they throwing money down the drain and enough is enough and they just don't punt anymore.
Look at the state of our racing and the way it has been run, going bankrupt surely tells the story.
Keep on saying it's our choice because at the end of the day no punters means no racing and if everybody takes your advice then goodbye SA racing.

Then the 2nd fav wins paying R1,20 a win, wins the race. Realy anyone stupid enough to play these odds must lose

Cowboys don't cry especially in front of their horses, granted odds on shots get beat all the time but the point i was trying to make is Muis in his interview after the race says that this a top horse, why did he not say this before the race, there is no way that even a seasoned punter would have found this horse after one dismal run.For the game to succeed we need transparency.

I did give my view on the subject matter but a bigger concern for the tote is the increasing number of R1.00 payouts or returns on short priced favs.
It's unacceptable to take a risk for no return.
