Maybe bookies don't respect the trainers comments.

I think a nice card - and not impossible that just as everyone goes de Kock crazy, things return to normal  - thoughts ....
R2: Leopold is best weighted and is my first choice; Silver Tycoon should still improve and is the only danger imo
R3: Tricky Maiden complicated by the filly that raced in Europe; Veneta, Stepintospring and Red Hot in that order for me
R4: Interesting; Mike's Chick I think have improved and may hold Perfect Witness, while Querari Ferraris not out of it
R5: I think Wisteria Avenue is too high in the ratings and beatable at these weights - I'm not taking any chances
R6: Should lie between Ultra Quick, Barney's Pride and Bowie; Battleoftrafalgar one to watch out for
R7: Really fancy Freed from Desire, in form, ran to higher last time and imo will take a lot of beating; GoodQueenBess - who knows - I think may be better over further main dangers to FfD imo are Toto and Lucy in the Sky
R8: 3 horse contest imo; SIngforsusie disappointed last time when backed, and there is form to suggest that she is better than Alula's Star, who in turn seems better than Stolen Kiss - can't see anything else
R9: Tough close to the P6 - I know Kotinos is fancied, but this not easy
Enjoy

Well at least on course he did tell Julie that it was working well at home.
Early comments are there for the trainer to try and get a good price on the horse by trying to deceive the bookies in believing that the horse wasn't fancied.

Supreme Warrior, just how good is that horse? Didn't get away on terms, was scrubbed to stay in the race, going nowhere 350 out then takes off to win, wow.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Can't trust the trainers comments. The bookies saw a flood of money coming for this horse.
